I discovered my passion for design in grade four when I discovered the floor plan of the week feature in the Calgary Herald. Every weekend I looked forward to the homes section and a new layout in which to explore and understand a space.
Educating myself beyond the local newspaper found me in the Interior Design program at Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto and at Mount Royal University in Calgary. After finishing up my schooling I set up roots in Calgary where it has always felt like home.
I have had the fortunate opportunity to work with two well-established residential design companies and a brand new start-up. Working for others has allowed me to experience several distinct approaches to design while working for myself has allowed me to refine my own.
This brings me to where I am today, still getting excited over floor plans only this time I am exploring a space through a client’s eye to create a space to best serve their needs.
Every renovation is an opportunity to redefine what home means to you and in the end, should reflect your personality and function beautifully for you.
